5 out of 5 starsThis ring set is incredibly beautiful, perfectly crafted and very comfortable to wear. The ring with the great emerald is a real eye-catcher both individually and with the two silver clip-on rings. Big compliment to the artist. And many thanks to Ms. Detmers for the friendly contact and fast shipping. The packaging was also very nice and the set came in a great ring box. We recommend! :)

5 out of 5 starsThe necklace is simply beautiful, more beautiful than we imagined. Shipping was very timely, despite ice and snow, and customer service was exemplary. All details were clarified in advance. And so I can wear the necklace in different ways. I can only thank everyone again, especially Ms. Detmers. We felt very comfortable and safe with this purchase. Warm greetings and a Merry Christmas from Kevelaer and all the best for the coming year.

Sizing details
You do not know your ring size and have never worn a ring: please do not just put on a measuring tape and read off the millimetres...
Ring sizes depend not only on the circumference of the finger, but also on the ring model (width, shape etc.). We recommend to have the ring size determined at a goldsmith, at a jeweller or at a jewellery department in a department store. The ring should be easy to turn on the finger, not constrict it and slide over the knuckle with some resistance.
A wide ring displaces more mass, so when measuring the ring size it is important to indicate the desired ring shape, e.g. thin, wide, rounded inside or flat. We need the number engraved on the ring or read off the ring stick.
blackened silver
Blackened silver does not remain permanently black. Since only the uppermost layer of silver can be blackened, the black is rubbed off with wearing, especially on the higher layers, and the silver reappears. However, it is possible to "re-colour" the piece of jewellery again without any problems.
Care instructions
The surface of jewellery changes over time. Glossy polished surfaces get scratches and matt surfaces get rubbed off by wearing and become shiny. This is normal, because the pieces of jewellery live with the wearer.
If the traces of wear disturb you, we can polish, matt, boil white or black the jewellery again. Normal dirt is best removed with soapy water and a soft brush.
If it is very dirty it is best to leave the cleaning to the goldsmith, who knows exactly how to clean jewellery with pearls or delicate stones. This service can be very time consuming and therefore will cost something.
Calour variations
We photograph our jewellery with white balance, but it can still happen that, for example, the colours of the stones "in real" look different than on your monitors - which can also be due to different monitor settings. And gemstones come from nature: hardly any of them look exactly like a second stone, and since all our items are individually handmade, this can also cause small deviations from the items shown.
Custom and personalized orders

Care of silver jewellery
Silver reacts with the hydrogen sulphide contained in the oxygen, silver sulphide is formed on the surface, this discolours and dark blue to brown-black spots appear.
Basically silver jewellery can be cleaned with a soft brush and a mild soap. And if no organic material, such as pearls, corals, amber, wood, etc. are attached to the piece of jewellery, you can briefly dip the washed piece of jewellery in a silver polishing bath, rinse well and dry with a soft cotton cloth.
Polished jewellery can also be cleaned with a silver cleaning cloth. This in turn is not suitable for matt surfaces.
What is enamel?
The term enamel comes from the Old Franconian “Smalt” or “Schmalt” (melt). In French the material is called “enamel”. The artistic processing of this material is called enameling. In terms of its consistency, enamel is a glass-like material that is colored with metal oxides. The enamel colors are only melted onto metal (copper, silver, gold and steel) at approx. 750-900 degrees. These high temperatures liquefy the enamel and what is known as glass flow is created. The prerequisite for an optimal melting process is that the enamel used has a lower melting point than the carrier material. Otherwise the metallic surface would also melt and the piece of jewelry would be destroyed.
